According to the Daily Mail, the attacks occurred within a few minutes of Truist Bank, Nike store, a Safeway supermarket, and the Hotel The District.
Police seek public assistance in apprehending the suspect by offering a reward of up to 20,000 dollars.
The first incident occurred at 4:30 (local time) on Sunday morning, when someone threw an explosive device on the sidewalk outside the Truist Bank resident in Washington Place NE and then left the scene in a vehicle.
A few minutes later, about 4:36 a.m., the suspect threw an explosive device onto the sidewalk in front of Nike's shop on H Street.
The third incident occurred at 4:45 in the morning, when this time the suspect threw a Molotov cocktail at Safeway on 40th Street before leaving.
Metropolitan police said that in all three incidents, the suspect appeared to have targeted commercial objects, but did not appear to have targeted civilians and the motive of the attack was not known. /abcnews. al
