The temporary results of the work of all SAA working groups by the EU are considering it harmful to domestic institutions the two largest opposition parties, LDK.
According to them, with the suspension of this agreement, Kosovo will have a prolonging of EU integration agenda.
PDK MP Blerta Deliu has said that with the SAA, Kosovo has the obligation that all laws related to EU directives be addressed with priority.
According to her, with the very fact that Kosovo is now suspended from SAA meetings, the country will have integration agenda approval.
Kosovo with the fact that it is in contractual relations with the European Union along with its commitments, also has an action plan to implement the national plan, a Stabilisation and Association Agreement meaning that all laws related to EU directives are committed to grant priority and treat as the Parliament. In this case, even we as MPs have been very loud to pass all the requirements which the EU has in relation to the Kosovo walk”.
The fact that Kosovo now has been suspended from SAA meetings, of course there will be a prolongation of our integration agenda like Kosovo, because in the meetings that Kosovo currently has in the EU, Kosovo will not be part of, and as a consequence, we will also feel the extent of the sanctions which the EU has imposed on Kosovo because of the situation the government has set up the country and that fall against our European perspective, but above all, it also represents our commitment as a state to try to try to try to reconcile with the EU<1x>
LDK MP Armend Zemaj said the suspension of the SAA is the biggest defect he could have made Kosovo institutions and legislation.
This has a very negative impact on European integrations, but also on Euro-Atlantic integrations. Above all, it is going back and going back is years where Kosovo has managed to at least get the first contractual agreement with the EU, such as the Stabilisation and Association Agreement”, Zemaj said.
He said the laws should be in line with EU directives and now with the SAA suspension, when there will be no answers from EU institutions then they remain invalid.
There is no one who can prevent them from complying with directives, but the moment you don't have answers from EU institutions in Kosovo, then they remain worthless because they are not co-ordinated and in harmony with their agenda. Their agenda is embraced by the Republic of Kosovo or by its democratic part, whether the rest of it is undemocratic or there is any other ideology with any orientation outside the EU agenda, then Prime Minister Kurti should say that even the parliamentary majority” himself, he said.
