RTK journalist Haziri is dismissed from his job: At Kurt's order, only because he was critical

The former head of Gjilan and one of LDK's key figures, Lutfi Haziri, has reacted to the suspension RTK has made to the gendarmian journalist Asdren Agushi. Haziri says he has been suspended from work on order of power of Albin Kurti only because Agush has been critical.

Haziri says it is a scandalous attempt to silence journalists and therefore choke free speech. The former head of Gjilan has recalled that the same journalist has been critical and harsh in some cases even with him.

“The positions and movements of power with authoritarian thinking are investigated when trying to discipline journalists, with old methods. Suspension from Albin Kurti's order of power from the RTK management (Radio Television of Kurti) for journalist Asren Agoshi, unless the latter has been critical, is scandalous and trying to silence journalists and therefore, insulting free speech. Agush has been critical of all powers, even harsh at times, even of me. Until today, however, it has never been penalised. In support of Assad and all Kosovo journalists whenever they face lynching pressures. Face the powers, journalists are always right!

Agush's family have always been rebels for Albanian freedom, and by the president of Albania it has been decorated with Eagle's Golden Medal for its contribution to the nation and country. On Friday in his account Asdren Agoshi has said that after working seven years as a journalist and correspondent, he has been suspended from work. He said the reasoning he's been given is not.

Agushi has said it is the journalist's duty to be critical of power and adds that he has been critical of each power. He said he could have it all, only servile isn't.

“Today, I am retired from my job as a journalist-crazed by RTK after seven years of work in this institution. The only reason for suspension is not reason! Why am I critical of power, I think I have a duty as a journalist to be critical of any power. I've been with all the powers! I can only follow a servile rule to never be, because my family education is like that! I serve as a professional, I never get under any harm! If I have prevented power at all I'm sorry, but let's keep in mind their own answers to those who are persecuting journalists and anyone who doesn't think about them. I don't have to stop because it's in my nature to stop! I will follow the legal ways and win this battle! I believe there's justice in this country and it's not under control!
