Remi's interview with Special Court is accepted as material proof

In judging Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi, in Kosovo Specialised Chambers ( DPSK, at Friday's session, has been accepted as video material evidence and transcripts of the Mustafa- Remi Rrustem interview for the BBC for the time of Rambouille.

Initially, Thaci's defence -- namely, lawyer Luka Misetic has sought to issue an interview that witness Mustafa had given to the BBC after the war in connection with Rambouillet's time -- reports “Justice Vowif”.

In the released video, witness Mustafa was heard to say that he had been for the trip to Rambouille, but not to sign.

I was about to go to Rambouille, not for signing yes, only to go and say our demands”, Mustafa was heard to say.

On the other hand, witness Mustafa was heard to say that most commanders could not go because it was war.

You've been talking to us over the phone, but we've told you that normally you should go to Rambouillet, in uniform, present our intentions to you, but you should never be fooled, you can't be betrayed and you have to win there”, you know what he's saying.

Also, Mustafa was heard to say that they have called all members of the group on the phone and that they have threatened them that they dare not sign and that if they do, they dare not return to Kosovo.

You can't sign. We've told you that we have rocket missiles and we'll save those rockets, we'll use Serbs, but your plane is landing in Slatina we'll take down”, Mustafa said in that interview.

Meanwhile, he said they have done so, returning to Kosovo so that they can consult.

After hearing this video, lawyer Misetic has asked witness Mustafa about what Thaci had given guarantees to the commanders of the area.

In this regard, witness Mustafa said Thaci was the head of the Rambouillet delegation and that he has done everything to convince.

According to him, Thaci had one by one convinced them that he is contacting the most powerful people.

“I was skeptical until the NATO shelling began”, Mustafa added further.

And lawyer Misethic also asked him if the commanders of the districts would withdraw their consent to Thaci.

Witness Mustafa said without them, the deal would make no sense.
