The meeting is intended to take place under preparations for the Berlin Process summit, to be held in Albania's capital on October 16th.
This meeting is said to be aimed at discussing and co-ordinating, to draft joint requirements, to be submitted at the October summit, where leaders of the European Union countries are expected to participate.
But even this meeting is not expected to hold together Prime Ministers Edi Rama and Albin Kurti, whose relationship has cooled for several months.
A draft committee for the Association of Serb-run municipalities in Kosovo, proposed by Albania's prime minister, as well as the annulment of the joint meeting between the government of Albania and Kosovo, which was scheduled to hold on 14 June, has raised tensions between Rama and Kurti, who have preferred to argue with each other from a distance through statements.
The disagreements between the two leaders culminated on July 6th, when Kurti refused to meet Rama, who remained for an official visit to Pristina. Rama was hosted by Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca.
It is reported that at Monday's informal meeting at Albania's helm, Kosovo will be represented by Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi.
Kosovo executive head Kurti, according to an announcement from his office, will be in Greece on Monday, attended by the 25th edition of the International Symposium SYMI, which was founded by former Hellenic Prime Minister George Papandreou.
At Monday's meeting among the region's leaders, Serbia is expected to be represented by Prime Minister Anna Brnabiq.
