Refused to submit to power, RTK reporter suspended

Journalist Asdren Agushi through a Facebook post has indicated that he has been suspended from work on Kosovo Radio Television and has said that it happened because he is critical of power. Agush has said he is obligated to be critical of power, and he has done so with [...]

Agush has said he has the duty to be critical of power, and has done so with all powers. He said he couldn't be a servile and that he serves a profession.

He has said he will not stop, but has declared that the current power in Kosovo is persecuting journalists.

He has said he will follow all legal ways and win this battle because he believes in justice as he puts it.

This is his post:

Yesterday, I was suspended from work as a journalist-crazed by RTK after seven years of work at this institution. The only reason for suspension is not reason! Why am I critical of power, I think I have a duty as a journalist to be critical of any power. I've been with all the powers! I can only follow a servile rule to never be, because my family education is like that! I serve as a professional, I never get under any harm! If I have prevented power at all I'm sorry, but let's keep in mind their own answers to those who are persecuting journalists and anyone who doesn't think about them. I don't have to stop because it's in my nature to stop! I will follow the legal ways and win this battle! I believe there's justice in this country and it's not under control! Democracy is built in this country and there's no power that can destroy me! See you in the next process! I'm a winner, of course.
