Rama-Kurti's strained relationship, Meta: Rama's membership bill, provocation for Kosovo

Ilir Meta, leader of the Freedom Party, has today commented on the situation in northern Kosovo, as well as the relationship of Edi Rama and Albin Kurti.

He said the head of the Albanian government has always had elements of conflict with Kosovo prime ministers.

Meta has also spoken of the draft association made by Edi Rama as a proposal for calming the situation in the north.

“I don't know on whose behalf this did it, because Albania has obligations to Kosovo, but now has its own state. Everything that concerns Kosovo and issues related to its sovereignty is the exclusiveness of Kosovo's elected, not Albania. To undertake such an initiative without consulting with Kosovo officials is at least provocation. It's not a contribution”, Meta said.
