After a serious illness, Professor Shefki Sejdiu died on Sunday at the age of 88.
Professor Sejdiu has started his teaching career at Podujevo University, then Pristina's, and later after conducting postgraduate and doctoral studies, which he successfully completed at Zagreb University, he was a regular professor at Pristina University.
Professor Sejdiu was an excellent connoisseur of Romance and in particular French and Latin.
For the purpose of scientific research, as well as participation in scientific conferences, it has stood at a large number of European universities such as France, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia and other countries.
Following the construction of democratic institutions in the post-war period during the first legislature, he was an MP in the Kosovo Assembly.
