The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has banned the so-called director of the Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovic.

Although the entrance was banned, the reason for the ban was not disclosed by the MPJD.

“You confirm that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has not approved Serbian official Petar Petkovic's request for entry into the Republic of Kosovo” this time, the MPJD's response to Portal Dukajni says.

However, this is not the first time Petkov is banned from Kosovo institutions.

He had been detained twice in 2022.

It was announced by EU special envoy for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak, EU, US and QUINT representatives.
