The relevant investigative units have managed to provide extensive materials that the suspect in violation of legal obligations has enabled wooden carriers to enter illegally from Serbia to Kosovo.

He is suspected of illegal procedure actions.

The Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, (DHKEK), namely, the Regional Gjilan Unit, in co-operation with Gjilan's Constitutional Prosecutor, has conducted investigative actions, managing to ensure reasonable evidence that the suspect A.Z., acting in opposition to his legal authorisations and misusing official duty, has enabled persons/transporters I.M. and J.A., to illegally transport wood which allegedly entered from Serbia's territory in the Republic of Kosovo.

It is alleged that by misusing the official duty person A.Z., he had branded the trees as well as issued the accompanying sheet illegally.

I.M. and J.A. After the interview, they were released in regular procedure, already suspect A.Z. The prosecutor's decision has been banned for 48 hours.

Kosovo police remain committed to the realisation of its legal and constitutional duties, and bringing suspected persons who conflict with the law to justice.
