Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Eliza Hoxha has said today at the media conference that the new surveillance link testifying to the government's theft in state reserves is the unprecedented thief that has installed the very government of Albin Kurti.
“Kequming with state reserves is one of the corruption scandals affecting not only reserves, but also the general integrity of public institutions”, MP Hoxha said.
For these close abuses of corruption at the Ministry of Industry, Undertaking and Trade, it invited justice bodies to take immediate measures, first to stop the further abuse that may be taking place even now and to put all persons involved in this corrupt scandal, at the centre of which is Minister Roseta Hajdari.
MP Eliza Hoxha recalled that the Democratic Party of Kosovo has now raised its concern in relation to state reserves and allegations based on misuse, both on grain reserves and today when we are talking about oil reserves.
“Roza Hajdari, is an incompetent minister who for two and a half years has not only had no results, but has been protagonist of successive scandals. I remind you that Rosetta Hajdari is the condemned and guilty minister on two different issues. And apparently that's not enough, and we already see it diving even deeper into the corrupt vicinity”, Hoxha said.
She said the wiretapping published by the media testifies to Albin Kurti's government negotiations with third parties, for extinguishing companies and with extinguish bank accounts. And above all, for paying oil, which has never arrived in Kosovo.
MP Hoxha said that Prime Minister Roseta Hajdari as an instrument of Prime Minister Albin Kurti did the same by revoteing the Klan Kosovo license, which is one of the biggest media in the country, established in the defeat of hundreds of journalists and broad workers, who for years have made an extraordinary contribution to informing our citizens.
This unprecedented move constitutes an authoritarian act that occurs in a democratic society, and scatters the great zeal of Albin Kurti and his government against the media and free speech. With this move, Prime Minister Albin has put a dark spot on the Republic of Kosovo and our democratic order, which we have aspired to and we want among ourselves”, Hoxha said.
The arbitrary closure of a media media that sparked numerous local and international reactions, according to MP Hoxha not only cannot be reasoned, but constitutes an open threat to the democratic value system and is unacceptable.
“Therefore, for the Democratic Party the elections are inevitable and should happen as soon as possible in order for Kosovo to return to its profile as a new, hopeful state and with clear orientation and social and democratic development”, said MP Eliza Hoxha.
