Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has said the Srebrenica massacre is the largest massacre after World War II, where more than 8 thousand Bosniaks were killed.
“Tomorrow is the 28th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre, it is the largest massacre after World War II on the European continent. On July 11th 1995, Serbian criminal forces killed over 8 thousand and 732 Bosniaks in Srebrenica, for this reason to commemorate this day, and to honour the one minute silenced”, he said.
Konjufca said he hopes criminals will get the punishment for their actions.
Otherwise, the Srebrenica genocide occurred in July 1995 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where more than 8,000 Bosnian Muslims were killed, mainly men and boys aged 12 to 77 years.
Genocide has been implemented in the Srebrenica region by the Republika Srpska Army under the leadership of General Ratko Mladic.
