Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has reacted after the physical clash between MPs and ministers in the Kosovo assembly, writes Periscopi.
Osmani has said that the use of physical violence is damaging to the country's institutions, adding that violence cannot be transformed into a political tool.
We should reaffirm our devotion to democracy, as well as mutual respect, based on the rule and respect of law”, has written Osman, among other things.

Using physical violence as a means to address discontent, differences or political disagreements is the greatest damage that can be done to institutions that have been built with so much labor and sacrifice.
The Assembly is the cornerstone of our democratic society, where different voices unite to represent the interests of citizens, so violence has no place in the temple of democracy and cannot be transformed into political means.
We need to reaffirm our devotion to democracy, to different opinions, as well as mutual respect, by relying on rule and law enforcement.
