Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has said the July 2nd Constitutional Declaration has paved the way for the fulfillment of the century-old dream for Kosovo Republic.
It has indicated that the July 2nd Constitutional Declaration is an event of emblems, which marked our historic turn for freedom and independence.
The July 2nd 1990 Constitutional Declaration, proclaimed by the 114 delegates in the Kosovo Assembly, opened the way for the fulfillment of the century-old dream for Kosovo. Their act testified that the way of state making requires commitment, sacrifice, and courage. Delegates of that time blended these three, laying the foundation cornerstone of the state of Kosovo, which was sealed on February 17, 2008”.
The July 2nd Constitutional Declaration is an event that marked our historic turn for freedom and independence. July 2nd remains one of the most important dates for our country, as its foundations lie on the delegates' decision at the time. Happy 2nd of July, be it eternal Republic of Kosovo”, the President's Office announced.
