Opposition with criticism of government, Kurti is undermining Kosovo reports with international friends

The Government's latest decision, where Serbian organisations declared terrorist “Civil Assistance” (Cevilna Zastita) and “The North Brigade” (Severa Bridgeda), which operates in the northern part of the country, inhabited by Serb majority, was also a Kurti decision, which the United States of America claimed had no co-ordination with Kurti Government.

Until they declared no co-ordination, the US has called on Kosovo to refrain from unilateral steps.

And such actions are being seen by the opposition as undermining Kosovo's reports with the allies.

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Rzazarta Krasniqi has told Telegrafi that it is disturbing what positions the reports with the US are in.

The “is really disturbing at what point Kosovo's position has come to be in relation to the United States of America, ignoring them and lack of conform co-ordination for the government's hasty actions, in the northern part of the country will have serious consequences for the country”, it has indicated.

MEP Krasniqi added further that sanctions for the country have already been warned, and that according to her, these will have major consequences in many segments.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo supports the Government's recent decision to declare two terrorist organisations, but say such actions should be co-ordinated with international friends.

We as AAK think that it is the right action that every relief organization or actor that violates the security of the country must be monitored, and not identified and declared as an unacceptable and dangerous subject to our country. But on these state decisions, I think political effects are created, so on these national topics there is also a need for co-operation and co-ordination with all domestic political and social acts, as well as the international factor”, Lekaj MP for Telegrafi has said.

Lekaj added further that the <x0) national and foreign policy must certainly have the approval of Kosovo's friendly international states, because the practice has proved that everything has failed when we did not have their support”.

The MP called for the Government to have co-operation with political parties in Kosovo, as well as co-ordination with internationals.

“Over this logic and political course, we pray to the Government that this unity and co-operation with political subjects in the country, as well as co-ordination with internationals”, he said.

Even in the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Kosovo- USA.

PDK Deputy Chairman Vlora Citaku in a Facebook post has written that Kurti Government is undermining Kosovo's credibility in the international arena.

In turn, she has raised questions about who the government is coordinating with if not with friends?

If on such sensitive security issues the government does not co-ordinate with the US, U.K. and Germany, and yet it is claimed that there has been co-ordination with the internationals, the question is with whom they are co-ordinated!! With what international?

According to Chitak, with the approach of Kurti Government, the entire Kosovo is in danger.

Otherwise, the government of Kosovo at Thursday's meeting has declared Serbian organisations “Civil Assistance” terrorist (Cevilna Zashtita) and “The North Brigade” (Severa Brigades) who operate in the northern part of the country, inhabited by Serb majority.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti before the government cabinet said these two organisations pose a serious threat to constitutional order and security in Kosovo.

“Based on the assessment of security institutions, these illegal formations pose a serious threat to constitutional order and security in Kosovo. In view of this, the fact that the threat to legal and constitutional order to our country is incompatible and aimed at protecting all citizens indiscriminately, Civil Protection and North Brigade has been declared terrorist organisation”, he said.

Following that decision, the United States reacted.

The U.S. State Department said the Government of Kosovo has not been co-ordinated with Washington in terms of the proclamation of “Civil Protection” and “North Brigade” terrorist organisations.

We stress that according to the law in Kosovo, when organisations are declared terrorists, their activity is prohibited immediately. Any further activity of them would bear serious legal consequences.

“Civil Protection” and “North Brigade” number hundreds of their members from the ranks of the Serb community. Their announcement as terrorist organisations comes at a time when tensions in northern Kosovo mostly inhabited by Serbs have increased.

Tensions in the north have taken place since May 26th, when young Albanian mayors have officially taken office.

Local Serbs have opposed them, organising violent protests and trying to break into municipal facilities. Violent protests hurt police, KFOR soldiers, and media teams.

Regarding the attacks, police have already arrested several suspects. Calls for the de-pass of the situation have made the United States of America and the European Union.
