Security measures are being imposed at the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo.
Subtitled to your request for information, we inform you that the Basic Court in Pristina Special Department in criminal case against defendants K. H, O.H. and L.D., following the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, has decided on the security measure. The Special Department of the Foundation Court in Pristina has approved the Special Prosecutor's request of the Republic of Kosovo for continuing the house arrest move against defendants K. The attack on journalist Syla had taken place on April 11th of this year.
The suspects after the arrest had remained in custody a month, later the pre-trial judge had refused the prosecution's request for continuing the detention measure, and the same had been assigned home arrest measures until July 12th, 2023.
The Express newspaper had published the prosecution's file, in which it described that ideologically motivated suspects have forwarded journalist Syla from T7 to the Sun Coast, which was then punched into the head and various parts of the body.
