Over 10,400 flights have been realised during this period, with the largest number implemented by Switzerland, followed by Germany, Turkey and Austria.
According to ANP data “Adem Jashari”, the largest number of exiles was from Switzerland, with 583,206 travelers or 38.24 percent of the total number of travelers. Also, the high number of exiles came and had between Germany and 517,863 travelers, Turkey with 165,727 travelers, and Austria with 6.1 percent of its travel participation.
As for the number of flights, 3,750 flights have been realised from Switzerland, followed by Germany with 3,315, Turkey with 1,150 and Austria with 710 flights.
The largest number of exiles have been realised during the months of April and May, where 586,157 travelers with 4,040 flights have come to total.
During January, 235,834 exiles with 1,660 flights arrived in February, 193,116 travelers with 1,238 flights arrived on March, 1,496 flights with 221,760 travelers took place, while in June there are 289,919 travelers with 2,026 flights.
Central Bank of Kosovo data (BQK) shows that during 2022, the diaspora has sent 59.4m euros more, Telegrafi writes.
For this period, the highest value was during August with 131.6m euros of the total of over 1.2 billion euros.
Based on the delivery channels, the CEC says 702.1m euros have been transferred through the first shipment agencies, while the rest through commercial banks and alternative channels.
While, in terms of the country's charter shipments, Germany is the state where money is mostly sent towards Kosovo. From there came 41.2 percent of the shipments, followed by Switzerland by 20.2 percent and the United States at 9.1 percent.
The World Bank says participation of remittances in Kosovo's domestic production of Bruto is about 20 percent, where 13 billion euros have been submitted by the declaration of independence.
Of the preliminary results of the diaspora census, the number of Kosovo citizens living in different countries in Europe and the world, which have responded to the census, is about 350,000.
