LDK member Wisar Azemi has reacted after the EU has confirmed the sanctions against Kosovo.
Azemi says that even though Government has been announced on June 28th, the executive séée has said not a word of severe punishment.
He says Kurti is leaving Kosovo without funding and without high-level meetings. Azem says Kurt's adventures must end and that Kurti Government does not need Kosovo.
Full response:
The European Union today confirmed that sanctions on Kosovo have entered into force. It also became known that the Government has announced on June 28th, so now three days. Not a single word from Wednesday from this nontransparent executive we heard when it was announced of such severe punishment for our country on its European journey.
With his stubbornness and unilateral actions, this power is leaving Kosovo without EU funds and projects. Kurt's reckless actions are suspending the SAA. And he and senior state officials are closing doors for high-level meetings and visits.
All this for some political ajamia games. A bunch of intern maneuvers. Those who at least put stones on the foundations of the state are risking it today. In the name of sovereignty and territorial integrity, while they made both fade, and worse, desecrated Kosovo's image internationally.
Next Kurt adventures must be over. He and this government no longer need Kosovo. Their departure has even become necessary. For the good of the state. For the future of Kosovo.
