As Lajcak's meeting with Petkov reportedly began and as noted earlier by the EU, the parties depend on whether there will be a trilateral meeting, online Reporter.net broadcasts.
“Trillal is our goal, but it is up to both guests, as always, if they will be willing to sit down together”, the EU told Euronews.
EU spokesman Peter Stano confirmed that EU special envoy for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak will meet with the two chief negotiators on both sides.
“Fokus will be full implementation of the February 27th Agreement and steps towards the despassing of the situation in northern Kosovo”, Stano wrote on Twitter.
We remember that last week, Prime Minister Kurti has warned a series of steps Pristina considers a path to the north.
The first is the actual reduction of police presence, and the Kosovo government has also declared that it supports holding early elections in four municipalities after the summer season.
All agreed, as the government announced, will be completed within two weeks.
