EU Emisar for Kosovo- Serbia Miroslav Lajcak has met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq in Belgrade today.

Lajcak has announced in Titter that he and Vucinqi discussed the elections in Kosovo's four northern municipalities and the participation of Serbs in them.

Lajcak also said this meeting gave clarity for future steps.

“I continued my visit with a meeting of Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq. We had a frank and open conversation about the road forward, including the need for new local elections with the participation of Kosovo Serbs and the return to dialogue. Meeting and visiting helped clarify the next steps”.

EU Emisari Miroslav Lajcak has stayed in Pristina on Tuesday, where he has held meetings with the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

Lajcak's visits to Pristina and Belgrade have been aimed at discussions on extending the situation to northern Kosovo. /Periscopi/
