Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said it is about holding new elections in the north, but requires guarantees that will not repeat April 23rd, when Serbs boycotted the elections.
Kurti said the Serbian List “is increasingly slipping into lawlessness”, and it is difficult for her to obey to participate in the election.
“The nationals have failed to fulfil my promise to participate in the Serbian List when it has been much more normal than it is today, so its ongoing participation is even more difficult”, Kurti said.
He said he asked internationals to count “without reservations” and “savings” on his options, which, he said, “23 April does not repeat in autumn or winter”.
Prime Minister Kurti has been asked whether he will meet with Prime Minister Rama. He has said he would refuse to meet Rama without meetings of the two governments.
“I am willing to meet Rama under the two governments' collection, not without that meeting”, Kurti said at the media conference Wednesday.
Kurti has invited Albania's prime minister to hold the cancelled meeting of the two governments during this week.
Rama will be in Pristina under preparations for the Berlin Process, to be held in Tirana in October.
