Kurti contests the number of KLA veterans: There's a triple number

The prime minister, Albin Kurti, is convinced that more than 60 thousand people have participated in the liberation war. But he says there's a kind of triple number of veterans, because according to KLA commanders there are about 20 grand, so he claims it's necessary that things be called proper names.

Kurti adds that we cannot harm veterans by making participants part of this category. He made these comments after being asked about the approval of the minimum wage, where veterans were not included, for which there was an explanation. He said it's basically that there are higher benefits for veterans, but that these benefits are not paid because the salary is for the job done.

Kurti has said the recently adopted Law in the Kosovo Assembly regulates the minimum wage rather than the benefits of gratitude to Kosovo Liberation Army veterans.

Kurti has added that it must be clearly defined by the number of veterans, which he said is necessary the will the prosecution has in the investigation. He also expects agreement with war - torn associations.

The “Law, which recently passed into the Kosovo Assembly, regulates the minimum wage. We're for benefits as much as possible for veterans, but these profits are not pay because the pay is for work. So the benefits are the gratitude of the society given to war veteran”.

I believe that in the liberation war, there's more than 6,000 participants, but there's a kind of triple the number of veterans, so it's imperative that things are called proper names. The veterans according to the KLA commanders are about 20,000, then if we attach to the participants, then there's more than 60 grand.
