Kurti calls EU measures against Kosovo unfair: We can compromise constitutionality

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been declared for EU measures against Kosovo. He said they are unfair, until he added that Kosovo cannot compromise with rule of law nor with the country's constitutionality. These are not sanctions, but it is true that are temporary but unfair measures because [...]
These are not sanctions, but it is true they are temporary but unfair because Kosovo and its government are both the state and the most democratic pro-European executive and progressist. On the other hand, we have a constant confrontation with various forms of aggression in Serbia, which is an autocratic and pro-Russia state and unconfronted with the criminal past in the space of the former Yugoslavia, where it has caused four wars. Whatever it is, we do our job, but let's not forget that we cannot compromise either the rule of law or the constitutionality of our country, so we will continue with the implementation of our government programme and we hope that these temporary measures will be very short so that even European support and assistance are complete because Kosovo is a country that needs support in developing it”, he has said.
Kurti further said Kosovo is ready and interested much more than Serbia for normalisation with de facto recognition at the centre.
“The table of dialogue is for implementation of the full normalisation agreement and also for the despass. We are willing, interested much more than the other side for de facto recognition in the centre, for mutual recognition, but we are also interested and ready for the despass of the situation that I have spoken about even publicly of all languages that I know in order to have peace and quiet in the north of Kosovo, but Kosovo and Serbia as two states to build the neighbourhood of the European type<1>, it is expressed.
Regarding Sunday's inaugurated park, Kurti has said that this 1 hectare park is worth 124 thousand euros.
All major decisions are made for the present and the future, and this is for our children. May this park return to a place where everyone will create good times. These are the very spaces that connect the individual to the country. This park is 124 thousand euros of 1 hectare”, he said.
Attending this event on Sunday were the mayor of the municipality, Qemajl Aliu, and Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde.
