Prime Minister Albin Kurti has provided details of meeting with EU emissary Miroslav Lajcak

A media conference, Kurti stressed that the topic of discussion with Lajcak has been the breach of the situation in the north, but also the normalisation of relations.

The prime minister reaffirmed that there is an agreement and that without its implementation there is no solution.

I'm always emphasising the fact that we need to implement the agreement and let's not forget we have a deal. Because much of what's being pumped into local media today, those in Serbia and international ones have made the impression that we have no choice. In fact, we have no solution because we have no implementation of the agreement, and here Kosovo is no fault, because we have also been willing to sign the agreement and then to implement it at a speed, Kurti has said.

Kurti said Lajcak has expressed readiness for elections at the meeting, saying the elections are the only ones who can change mayors in the north.

“I have demanded that normal relations with Serbia be made by not abandoning European values”.
