Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has commented on “the constitutions” of Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi for the European Union regarding holding early elections in the north, where it indicated that this should precede the removal of punitive measures.
Kurti confirmed that there is an agreement between Kosovo and the European Union on the de-passing of the situation in northern Kosovo.
The first executive said the agreement between the EU and Kosovo should be implemented. Regarding EU measures, Kurti said it was not about conditioning, but about “the logical” of things.
“S first you should remember that a deal has been made between Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, who is responsible for European integrations, dialogue and development with the EU's special minister for the Western Balkans and Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Miroslav Lajcak about how the attitude of the 27 EU member states of June 3rd should be implemented. We have an agreement, the state of Kosovo represents the government of the Republic, which has sent Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, EU and European Commission for Foreign Policy and Security Vice President Joseph Borrell”, Kurti said.
“He has sent Lajcak and the agreement has been reached, so how should the EU position criteria be implemented and these two met, and they have reached an agreement and this agreement must be implemented, we have agreement between Bislim and Lajcak this must be implemented and this has to do with the despass, and I don't believe anyone expects that without becoming the full decespass to have elections in the north. But of course we continue working even further, we are preparing to have early elections in northern Kosovo”.
The “Masses that have been taken against us that are called temporary and returnable, so restorable, of course, we expect to be removed as soon as possible and it's logical that this will happen in advance. It's not about conditioning, but it's about the logical order of things that should have the first step in implementing the agreement between Bislem and Lajcak for June 3rd realised in Bratislava that creates minimum normality for early elections”.
