Spahija: The clinic is expected to be added to 4 anesthesiologists, competition opened
Anesthesiology director Gazmend Spahija told Front Online that there is a desire to increase the number of anesthesiologists in clinics, but that there are currently no unemployed in this regard.
He has shown that the competition for four interested anesthesiologists has been launched to work at this clinic.
The competition for four anesthesiologists who are interested in working at the Anastasia Clinic was opened before. At the moment in the Republic of Kosovo, there are no unemployed anesthesiologists, that the minister's will is that all interested anesthesiologists are employed”, he said.
Spahija says that the small number of anesthesiologists has added patient waiting lists.
According to him, it is impossible to meet the demand of all clinics, at the time other services are being added within KKUK.
With this small number of anesthesiologists it is impossible to meet the demands of all surgical and nonsurgeonic clinics, given the fact that health services at KKUK are constantly increasing”, he said.
Spahija says the Health Ministry is also aware of this absence, and reflected by opening the contest, but unfortunately, the number is small.
“The minister of health is informed of the situation at the Anesthesia Clinic and the moment the interest of the employment anesthesiologists at QKUU has shown, it has immediately reflected on the opening of the contest, unfortunately this number is also small”, he said.
Anesthesiology Director: Last year, 10 anesthesiologists released work, none this year.
The director of Anesthesiology Clinic, Gazmend Spahija, has made it known to Front Online that during the past six months, no anesthesiologists have launched a job at QKUKU, but mentioned statistics that last year, 10 anesthesiologists abandoned the workplace.
Last “Years have released 10 anesthesiologists, in the first six months of this year, no anesthesiologist” has released the job, he said.
The flight of doctors and other health frameworks is considered disturbing.
The same are being forced to release their jobs because of what poor conditions are saying.
