The power grid that supplied Malisheva's centre was placed on pillars - air carriers. But this situation has already changed completely. KEDS has replaced it with underground cables.
The establishment of underground power lines is not only making the appearance of Malisheva's plaza more aesthetically, but once KED investment has been successfully completed these days has brought abundant benefits to its inhabitants.
This project, which began in February, has been worked intensively on both sides of the square, including pipes, cables and all road infrastructure.
So all the air poles that have crossed this square along with the alleys have now been replaced by underground networks. This project started in February of this year and its value totals about 200,000 euros.
The underground deployment of energy cables will make the network more stable for consumers, downplaying damage from weather conditions or fires.
One of the goals of the company is to include as many locations as possible to expand the underground network as possible. So far, KEDS has laid down the underground network to more than 20 other city centres in Kosovo, until our goal is to include all municipalities at the level of Kosovo within a short future.
