The Lower Tension Network has completed the mosaic of the new electricity infrastructure in Shhabaj in Obilic.
There, already 180 consumers with houses on the west hill at the border between the energy municipality and the capital are receiving higher-level services.
KED's maintenance teams were demonstrating the old network to add grace to that side.
The inhabitants, watching as a task was accomplished, whose benefits were to be harvested themselves, were delighted to see the ends of the road in the scorching heat of July. “Done! The old network was in real serious shape and caused us much trouble. Now everything's changed. We have a much calmer winter”, excited residents say.
Once they made that investment, KED teams have started working immediately in the Baholl district, but in Shkaby. There, the project will be completed within the next two months and benefits will be around 200 consumers of this village.
Of these investments during this summer that the company is making in that capital village will be around 380 consumers or over 1,000 residents of that area, only under low tension.
Some time ago KEDS had also built the brand-new medium-tensity line, which dates from the Mazzi substation to the Pristina Trims Hill.
These investments are in the wake of massive projects that KEDS is making throughout Kosovo. Only in implementation are over 250 projects, which are meant to upgrade the power distribution infrastructure to the highest level.
