At this year's international congress in Edinburgh, Scotland, organised by the European Cardiology Association (ESC) and the Association of Cardiovascular Nurses and similar professions (ACNAP), our clinic and our country were represented by nurses Susana Dimiskovska. This convention has been accepted as a regular member, one of the 20 countries that are part of this association.
The congressional theme, “, put our hearts into patient care”, reflects the goal of bringing all dimensions of cardiovascular practice to the patient simultaneously.
Both associations work to improve cardiovascular care for patients living with or at risk of heart disease through application of advanced professional practice and innovative solutions to improve the results throughout the spectrum of cardiovascular diseases.
The association exists since 2018, when the General Assembly of the European Cardiology Association (ESC) in Munich voted and decided to open the Cardiovascular Infermia Council and similar developments (CCNAP) at the (ACNAP) association. From the Beginning A CNAP has been a dynamic and cooperative association specialising in prevention, rehabilitation and management of cardiovascular patients.
Their mission is to promote perfection in cardiovascular nurses and related professions through practice, education and research.
They believe nurses and health - care professionals have a key role in heart care. Developed interventions, tested and implemented by nurses and other health professionals can help patients prevent, adapt, and recover from heart disease.
Their vision is a reflection of all their aspirations. We also wish them many other successful conventions.
