The Italian Embassy: The announcement of terrorist organisations in the north took place without co-ordination of Italians

In a response to Klan Kosovo, this embassy said the announcement of terrorist organisations in the north was done without co-ordination with the Italian government.

“as far as the decision to declare organisations “Civil Protection” and “North Brigade” as a terrorist organisation is said to have not been taken into co-ordination with the Italian government, which was not previously informed by Kosovo authorities”, the Italian Embassy in Pristina said.

According to this embassy, co-ordination with international partners is more than necessary so that the situation does not escalate further.

“Reviewing the European Union's three-point plan for de escalation of the situation in Kosovo's northern municipalities, we recall the need for a close co-ordination with international partners and to refrain from any unilateral action that could further escalate the situation”, the embassy's response is said to be further.

We remember that in terms of the announcement of “Civil Protection” and “North Brigade” as a terrorist organisation by the Government of Kosovo, the United States, Germany and France have also responded, which also declared that this decision was taken without coordinating.
