According to official Iranian agency I The RNA, general director of the Systan-Baluccistan Meteorology, Muhsin Haydari, said that in the towns of Zahac and Hirmand air temperature have reached 50 degrees, making them the country's hottest regions.
According to him, 42 degrees are registered in the province's administrative centre of Zahidan. Haydar stressed that the air temperature will drop from the moon with the strength of the wind.
He warned citizens not to go out unnecessarily and avoid traffic when visibility is reduced.
The General Director for Crisis Management in Sisan-Baluccistan, Majid Mojibbi, said that more than 1,000 people were taken to hospitals and medical centres while a person lost his life because of the fine dust the storm brought to several cities.
