The situation of two Hungarian soldiers continues to be serious, reports online media Telex.
The ministry has said most of the soldiers have returned to their homes, but the situation of the two soldiers is still serious and they are still being treated at the hospital.
Their recovery, the Hungarian Defence Forces and military doctors are doing everything to the maximum. Despite the high level of medical care, after a preliminary consultation with the patient, taking into account the results of treatment offered since the injury, one of the cases had the obligation of amputation of a member who was conducted Friday at the National Institute of Medical Rehabilitation. The operation has gone well, the patient's situation is stable”, the ministry's announcement said.
KFOR's mission in Kosovo through a communique directed to the media had confirmed that from the north's transition to May 29th, 30 soldiers were wounded.
The number of peacekeepers injured during the violence in the Zvecan municipality is 30. 11 soldiers from the Italian contingent and 19 from the Hungarian contingent. They have suffered multiple injuries, including cracks and burns from improvised explosive devices. Three Hungarian soldiers were injured by the use of weapons”, KFOR had confirmed.
In contrast, members of the Kosovo Police, journalists and cameramen have also been injured in the north. Also, official cars have been damaged.
Currently, the situation in four northern municipalities -- Zvecan, northern Mitrovica, Zubin Potok and Leposaviq -- is reported to be calm, meanwhile, KFOR and Kosovo Police continue to have increased troops in these municipalities.
