Hasani said Kurti after the Ohrid Agreement was found not only legalising all previous agreements with Serbia, even adding new elements, citing as example “the character of Serbian autonomy in Kosovo”.
The former head of the Constitutional Court said in an interview for Radio Free Europe that Kurti later realized that “advisors had cheated”, Report Express quoted.
And this is autonomy in the full sense. Both territorial and personal. Personal in terms of individual rights guaranteed by the constitution, and territorial in terms of the Serbian Orthodox Church and Serbian historical heritage in Kosovo. He realized that domestic and foreign advisers had deceived him because they told him that if they did not sign the Ohrid Agreement, Kosovo could disappear as state”, Hasani said.
He said that the same later “unapprovals began to say it is not fair that only the Kosovo side requires implementation of the Ohrid Agreement, primarily forming the Association of Serb majority municipalities”.
The “Kurti realised that by agreeing with the Ohrid Agreement, he removed the issue of recognition of Kosovo from the dialogue agenda with Serbia. When he understood all of this, he began to manage the implementation of the Ohrid Agreement, creating a crisis of radical attitudes, then controlling it and then starting to surrender”, Hasani said.
