Haradinaj: We need a government of unity without Kurt, not elections

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has said there is the possibility that, under the existing legislature, a national unity government is given mandate until fair elections, so that, according to him, Kosovo will carry out the agenda it has on the negotiating table.

That, according to Haradinaj, Kurti's dismissal would have been adequate for the no-confidence motion, since, as he said, this is not the first time that happens in our country.

The choices in democracy are always the solution, but even in order to go to the elections so it takes an existing government to fall or cut the rules. So if someone asks for a choice, let him show us the way to the elections, so which is Kurt's resignation, how someone pushed Kurt to resign how he quits, if that's the point. In addition, former Prime Minister Haradinaj stressed that holding elections would be a waste of time for Kosovo and benefit for Serbia, so according to him, the ideal would be creating a government, as he called it, of national unity for resolving this crisis.

Haradinaj did not rule out the possibility of including the Vetevendosje Movement's participation in this government.
