In judging Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi, in Kosovo Specialised Chambers ( DESK) in The Hague has begun witnessing 14th consecutively in this case, Francis Ludwige, British intelligence service officer who served in Kosovo during the war.
This witness holds code 02153, which will initially answer the questions of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office (ZPS), reports Justice Trust.
Presequently on the part of the defence has been rejected the official SPS note of the witness with code 02153, claiming that these are new statements offered to protection over the weekend and that the same did not have enough time to prepare.
Also said by defence teams, the witness during his testimony to the SPS has given many opinions, meanwhile, has not been called as an expert, for that reason questions should not be conducted in such a way that witness opinions are taken into account.
And by the SPS side, it has been said that this witness is a witness to the fact and that they will not rely on opinions as well as statements in the official note have been voluntarily given by him.
Regarding these court cases, the court has issued oral orders, so it has decided that opinion should not be taken from the prosecution but rely on facts that are verified and has travelled the ZPN to edit the information contained in the official footnote.
Such trials in principle should not be issued by SPS, Judge Charles Smith said.
On the other hand, about documents for witness 02153 said that these documents are being taken to new statements so the court will give you enough weight.
But they said that the official notes should reflect only corrections, while the new statements are presented in the recognition note so that the SPS will seek their admission to the court's summit.
The testimony of the 14th consecutive witness, Francis Ludwige, is expected to be held at the public session.
