The Democratic Party of Kosovo has split the ruling coalitions with the Vetevendosje Movement at the local level, the party reports.
After the collapse of the coalition days ago in the municipality of Gjilan today, The PDK has split the ruling coalition with Vetevendosje Movement in the Podujevo municipality as well.
These decisions come after the assembly of the Kosovo Democratic Party's Steering Council, where it was decided to cut off any kind of official communication with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani.
“At the PDK Steering Council meeting, held on July 3rd, after having been long discussed about the situation in the country and the sanctions that the state and our citizens are already suffering, it was general agreement that Prime Minister Kurti and Vetevendosje are destroying any achieved in Kosovo these two decades and are sending the country towards confrontation with allies who have been the main supporters of Kosovo's freedom and citizenship, jeopardising the future of Kosovo's state. The PDK thanks all its representatives and officials in the municipalities of Podujevo and Gjilan, who throughout this period have served with dignity, professionalism and the will of municipalities and citizens, services which will continue voluntarily even from the opposition position of”, the PDK reported. /Periscopi/
