Gjakova Hospital Stops Operations, SSKUK forms working group to analyse decision

They sent the Kosovo University Clinical Hospital Service after a decision this institution took to stop operations due to high temperatures.

The action that the directorate did there turned out to be co-ordinated with the KSFUK and possibly illegal, Klen Kosova.tv reports.

The SSKKUK management has not been aware of the decision made by the Gjakova Hospital. We confirm that a working group has been formed that is analyzing the entire claims raised, not only operations, but also other questions”, said the SHSKUK's response.

Then, at the hospital, they said they had additional reasons to stop working in the operating room.

The spokesman for this institution, Besart Gashi, said that besides the halls that are very hot, there is also a lack of anesthesiologists. And although the decision is being investigated by the consciences, it was not canceled.

However, Gashi said whatever the ministry's decision is would be ignored.
