Amid tensions in the north and strained relations with international partners such as the EU and the US, the Kosovo government has engaged a lobby company in Washington, D.C.
In the document, published by Euronews Albania, it is said the lobbiing company paid by the Kosovo government with more than 147 thousand euros will provide strategic advice and foreign representation within the United States.

Under the contract signed by Kosovo Foreign Affairs and Diaspore Minister Donika Grevalla-Schwarz, the company will offer advice, support and communication with the US government's legislative and executive branches to improve bilateral relations between the US and the Government of Kosovo.
The contract, signed on 26 June between the Kosovo Foreign Ministry and Diaspora and the representative of the lobby company, Albanian Avni Mustafaj, has entered into force on 3 July and is valid for one year.
