Forwarding, assisting, arresting in the north, Kosovo police cannot head on anymore.
At least not without taking over the authority of the peacekeeping mission, the European mission for rule of law.
This is one of the points for the north enlargement, from Tuesday's agreement in Bratislava to European dialogue representative Miroslav Lajcak and Kosovo chief negotiator Besnik Bislimi.
For the Kosovar Law Institute, regardless of the forward movement for de-pass, it is a setback. With this reconciliation, the competencies of EULEX, which are only advisers, are exceeded.
This accord, similar to the previous one for failing to send the Security Force to the north, received criticism from the opposition. The deal, expected to be signed next week in Brussels, is required to be temporary, as it permanently damages Kosovo's interest.
