Szunyog has said Kosovo must organise new local elections and fully engage in dialogue.
That statement, he did after meeting with Kosovo Assembly deputies under the European Integration Commission.
“I explained to the Commission that the EU continues to support Kosovo on its European path, and these measures will be cancelled as soon as Kosovo contributes to de-progressing the situation in the north, organise new local elections and fully engage in Dialog”, Szunyog wrote.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has described these measures as unfair. He has said that today, where he talked about the meeting he had yesterday with the European mediator in the dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
Kurti has said that Kosovo “does not bear any guilt either for the passage of the situation or for the abnormalisation of the reports”
I also gave my warning, that the measures against Kosovo are unfair, although they are said to be temporary, since Kosovo bears no fault either for breaking the situation or for the abnormalisation of reports”, Kurti said before the media.
