Back up EU chief in Kosovo: The measures have returned, but must escalate as 27 member states have requested.

The chief of the EU office in Kosovo, Thomas Szunyog, has said EU measures towards Kosovo are temporary and returnable.

He said commitment is needed for the return of the measures to escalate the situation, as 27 member states have requested.

We had a good exchange with the Foreign Affairs Commission for recent developments and the situation in the north. I explained that the EU measures are temporary and returnable, but a constructive commitment is needed to meet de-progress as required by the EU27 statement of June 3rd”, he has said.
