The US Special Emissar for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, has talked about the measures America has taken towards Kosovo.
He said Kosovo has been excluded from “Defender 23” as a result of the bias, while adding that they are continuing to seek the way for partnership with Kosovo as one of the US's closest allies in the region.
We should say that we are concerned about the lack of co-ordination that goes not with the United States, but with the entire transatlantic community. So this includes Great Britain, the EU, NATO, Quint and its neighbours, Albania, Northern Macedonia”.
So we are actively looking for the way we can convince the government to see the United States again as its main partner in the region and for co-operation with the United States to be only to benefit Kosovo”, Escobar said, Klankosova.tv reported.
On the other hand, he spoke of a solution between Kosovo and Serbia, saying that “if we have good will from the parties, there are solutions”, citing the Association of Serb Major Communities as one of them.
