Escobar: KFOR's withdrawal from Kosovo is not on the table

The US envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, has said that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti will miss an opportunity if he does not line up with international partners.

“I hope Kurt at some point will comply with the demands of Europeans and Americans”, Escobar said during a conversation with Croatian journalists held Friday evening.

He has been asked whether amid moves towards Kosovo would be the withdrawal of KFOR, for which he has indicated that option “is not on the table”.

Escobar has called for the European plan to be accepted, which according to him is good and does not lean on either side.
