A 57-year-old from Kosovo has stolen the license plates of 6 vehicles owned by 6 citizens from Serbia, Moldova, Montenegro and Ukraine in the beach area in the town of Durres.
The first investigative actions allegedly claimed that this person already arrested stole plates to sell to citizens with criminal precedent to be used for criminal activity in the field of crime against life and property.
Police announcement:
He stole the plates of six vehicles owned by foreign citizens who had come as tourists to Albania, identified, captured, and arrested 57-year-olds. From Kosovo to Durres, exercising criminal activity of stealing tourist vehicle plates, is suspected of selling citizens with criminal precedent to commit crimes against life and property in 57-year-old handcuffs.
The 57-year-old from Kosovo had stolen the license plates of 6 vehicles owned by 6 citizens from Serbia, Moldova, Montenegro and Ukraine. They are seized in the quality of material evidence stolen license plates in 6 vehicles. The services of the Durres Police Commissioner, in co-operation with the Page Police Station services, following the confirmation of several foreign citizens who had come as tourists to Durres and had stolen vehicle license plates, have organised and finalised the police operation coded “Targat”.
Under this operation it became possible to identify, capture and arrest the author of license theft, citizens S. F., 57, resident in Mitrovica, Kosovo. This citizen, in recent days, in the town of Durres, in the beach area, has stolen the license plates of 6 vehicles, owned by 6 citizens from Serbia, Moldova, Montenegro and Ukraine. The first investigative actions suspect that this citizen stole plates to sell citizens with criminal precedent, to be used for criminal activities in the area of life and property crimes.
In co-operation with the Prosecutor follow the deepening investigation into the record of this citizen's criminal activity. Materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Court of the First Stairway of General Jurisdiction Durres for further action.
