This information has confirmed for Gazeta Express the spokesman for the Gjakova Foundation Court, Leka Muqaj, stressing that G.J., is continuing treatment even within the detention centre.
For the case in question, it is announced that the defendant is located at the Dubrava Pedagation Centre, the same is receiving health services within this” centre, Muqaj told Gazeta Express.
The court has imposed a month's detention on G.J., due to suspicion that it has committed the criminal offence of serious murder and possession without authorization.
According to the prosecution's request, “dated June 25, 2023 around 20:20 in the village of Madanay in Gjakova has deliberately deprived the dead H. I. and B. I., from the village of Madanaj and this because of a property dispute”.
Regarding the case, Kosovo Police are also looking for second suspects Zef Ademiaj.
Therefore, in order for the same to be arrested, police ask citizens for cooperation in providing information if they know anything about his whereabouts.
Gjakova regional police spokesman Sheremet Elezaj said that Zef Ademij's arrest has so far failed to take place.
