Company planning to build a flying taxi factory

Brazilian aircraft producer Embraer says a new plant to produce electric flying taxis will be built in Sao Paol, which he hopes to build in the sky from 2026. The butterfly, which will be produced from her submarine Eve, will resemble a small helicopter with a space [...]
The butterfly, which will be produced from her submarine Eve, will resemble a small helicopter with enough space for six passengers.
It is predicted that a trip will cost between $50 and $100 per person. Eve claims she has received orders for nearly 3,000 air taxis so far, the BBC reports.
The company also hopes to assemble a prototype this year. U.S. regulators have recently issued a deadline allowing the taxis in that country to fly since 2025.
It has been argued that the aircraft could help reduce traffic jams in crowded cities, without being too expensive for customers. They are also seen as an alternative to shipping goods.
The factory will be built in the town of Taubate, about 140km from São Paolo, Brazil's economic capital. According to some reports, passenger cars similar to the fears will initially be used in taxi fleets.
The first flights will have a pilot, but a later launch of self-piloted vehicles is also on company plans. Cars will be 100 percent electrical, allowing flights without emissions.
