This excuse used for lowering salaries in the Kosovo Assembly is emerging to be major fraud. This is confirmed by documents provided by Infocus newspaper, where the head of the Parliament, Glauk Konjufca, has received payments in the past five months, amounting to less than 14 thousand and 149 euros.
The owner's salary really figures down from February when the salary law -- 1,829.60 euros -- entered into force, but in total from the state budget has received less than 3,276.80 euros.
This could be called fraud when it sees that the same payment for the head of the Parliament, Glauk Konjufca, has been in January, with high wages for which Kosovo Assembly deputies were consistently criticised. The gap with the salary before the new law on wages and following the law's entry into force for the money the first money in the Assembly has earned is only 15 euros less.
So based on the list of salaries of deputies, the head of the Assembly, which Infocus newspaper has provided after applying for access to documents, it turns out that actually including additional additions and the wages are not seen having any discounts, as the government promoted at the top with Albin Kurt.
With the new law on wages that went into effect from February 5th 2021, Konjufca for 5 months has received only salaries without including additions received from the state budget, down from less than 9 thousand and 710 euros.
While including additions and wages for this period of time, it has received 4 thousand and 435 euros.
