US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on July 29th that the United States believes Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu has written to visit North Korea to provide weapons supplies to confront the war in Ukraine.
Blinken said Russia is trying to buy weapons from allies worldwide.
“We are seeing Russia desperately seeking support, for weapons, wherever it can find them to continue prosecuting its aggression against Ukraine”, Blinken told reporters in Australia.
Russia is one of the countries North Korea maintains friendships, writes Radio Free Liberty.
