BIK calls on Government to act: Two mosques in the Year are illegal, beyond our control.

Two mosques are identified in the municipality of the Year, which are not under the umbrella of the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK).

So has the representative of the Islamic Community Council of the Year, Husamedin Hoxha, announced at today's meeting of the Community Council for Security, where he is a member.

He has explained before members of the KKSB, that there have long been two pardoning and mosqueing places in the municipality, which are functional outside BIKU jurisdiction.

Hoxha said it was about the old mosque in the village of Skifteray and the new mosque still unfinished in the self-declared Ramnishh village of imma.

He said he has also informed the state security authorities of this.

“You know there are two mosques in the municipality of the Year that out of control of the Islamic Community of the Year, visits of some people and the arrival of unknown people to those objects is very disturbing to me, is being visited just those two that are not under our control, people who come there are unknown not to our municipality, that is disturbing. We as BIK have announced all state authorities and have addressed this problem here several times. This takes state action. We've been informed by every institution that deals with security issues that these two public places are illegal to us as an institution, we have no more power. I'm informing you that those two mosques we don't manage, the imams are illegal we don't pay, we've opened competitions for imam, but nobody's interested because there are threats”, he said among other things before members of the KKSB, broadcast PlusTV.

And the municipality's deputy head, Hasan Aliu, said that for this guilty phenomenon is the Islamic Community of Kosovo, which, according to him, has managed to include in management and has been asked to solve this problem. Of the Kosovo police who were present at the KBS meeting, there was no clarification concerning the Council of Islamic Community concerns in the year what was done with these mosques, which were reported as uncontrolled.

For these concerns raised even earlier by KBI in the year, weeks earlier Plus TV had visited the mosque object in the village of Ramnishh, but the television team was not allowed to film from the occupants who were there to perform religious rituals, and journalists were prevented from performing their work.
