Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, has reacted via a tweet post following the clash that took place today in the Kosovo Assembly.
He said that not agreeing with the prime minister is democratic, but according to him, expressing controversy by force is a blemish on yourself, electors and the whole state.
“To disagree with the prime minister is democratic, to express the controversy this way is to tarnish yourself, your electors and the whole state with a shame that today hurts Kosovo internationally, more than any political stance that is opposing Prime Minister”, Rama said.
He further said that “imagine the feeling of Kosovo allies and unrecognised friends, when they see the Albanians' throats, where they should be fought with ideas and words, not with the culling of”.
I strongly wish the opposition would distance themselves from this shameful conduct and serve Kosovo by the strength of example, not by example of force”, he concluded his post.
